Intisoft and LUAHK Jointly Introduce ˇ§My Webˇ¨ Service
Providing a ˇ§Self-Managedˇ¨ Internet Application for the Insurance Professionals
Hong Kong (March 23, 2002) Intisoft Commerce Technology Lab and the Life Underwriters Association of Hong Kong (LUAHK) announced the launch of ˇ§My Webˇ¨ service. It is a powerful and convenient Internet application designed to provide an interactive environment and self-service administration interface for the members of LUAHK.
The whole concept of ˇ§My Webˇ¨ service is built on a ˇ§self-managedˇ¨ approach, allowing insurance professionals to create and manage their personal websites, complemented by a full range of useful and easy-to-use service tools which help facilitate closer communications with their clients and increase efficiency of work.
Insurance professionals can have their unique domain names and select personal websites from 30 pre-designed templates. The sections contained in each website can also be chosen by users, including introductory message, graphical images and photos at Home Page; overview of agentˇ¦s profile, mission statement and executive summary at Agent Profile; recent news, product offerings at News Bulletin, etc.
Other functions include real-time chat room, document download, online form submissions and Product/Service Catalog categorizing product/service offerings, such as various insurance policies, offer details, terms, pricing and enquiry form.
ˇ§My Webˇ¨ service is tailor-made for the insurance professionals who are on the road most of the time and find it difficult to keep close contacts with their clients. We have specially incorporated a personalized administration interface which allows for content updates anytime by the users at no extra cost and dissemination of the most up-to-date information in a more cost-efficient way,ˇ¨ remarked Dominic Leung, Director of Intisoft Commerce Technology Lab.
In addition, insurance professionals subscribed to an optional unified messaging feature will be assigned a personal fax number. Faxes received will be automatically forwarded to their mailbox, from which they can view incoming faxes through web browsers. Users can also select downloadable document from their websites and send documents as faxes to any Hong Kong fax numbers using web administration interface or WAP phone.
